A necklace of treasures - the vintage, 24 carat gold foil and blue beads came from the Venetian workshop of Pookie Farkalarta (c 1940); the design is based on an ancient Etruscan bead. The solid blues are genuine cobalt from Germany and date to the 1920s. All spacers and findings are 14 carat gold fill. The pendant is made from the artist's palette scrapings.
